Manchester United have made it clear that midfielder Kobbie Mainoo won't be allowed to leave on loan before Monday's transfer deadline.
The England international has fallen out of favour under manager Ruben Amorim, and he has managed only one league appearance this campaign.
Mainoo came on as a second half substitute during the 3-2 win over Burnley.Â
Fabrizio Romano now reports that Mainoo is keen on securing a loan move away from the Red Devils in order to secure regular first-team football.
However, United have made it clear that they won't entertain such an idea, particularly after a double injury setback against the Clarets yesterday.
Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount picked up injuries and there is a possibility that the former could be sidelined for several weeks.
Mainoo can operate in the number 10 and number eight roles, and United clearly believe he can contribute to the team in the current season.
The United graduate looks set to stay despite loan request.
