Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko could return from his loan spell at Nottingham Forest during the ongoing transfer window.
The Ukrainian signed for the Tricky Trees on a season-long loan deal last summer after falling out-of-favour under manager Mikel Arteta.
He has since made a handful of appearances, but does not appear in the plans of manager Sean Dyche for the backend of the campaign.
Zinchenko has just been removed from the club's Europa League squad, and Forest are now keen on terminating the temporary deal.
There is no recall or break clause as part of the contract, and Forest may have to compensate with the Gunners to ensure his release.
Arsenal are not contemplating the situation at the moment and the next few days could provide a clear idea on whether they change their stance.
Zinchenko is unlikely to have a future at the north London giants, and he could be loaned out to another club if he were to return.
