Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has heaped praise on Matheus Cunha following the 3-2 comeback win over Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Red Devils had not won a league game at the Emirates Stadium since December 2017 and they ended the run with an impressive performance.
Cunha was the match-winner with a fantastic long-range strike before stoppage time. Speaking after the game, Carrick praised the attacker.
He said: "Matheus, to come in and as soon as he got it out of his feet I fancied it and it was a fantastic finish. It was a big moment."
Cunha has been a substitute in the last two matches for the Red Devils, but he has made a strong impact with an assist and a goal.
The Brazilian could be in line to start for the Red Devils when they take on Fulham at home next weekend with Patrick Dorgu injured.
The Dane appeared to pick up a hamstring injury against the Gunners and may not be fit in time to face the Cottagers at Old Trafford.
