Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has provided an injury update on Reece James and Pedro Neto ahead of the Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home.
The Blues exited the Carabao Cup at the semi-final stage in midweek. They were trailing 3-2 after the first leg against Arsenal and suffered another 1-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening.
James and Neto were absent for the second leg. Rosenior was optimistic about their availability in the post-match presser, but he has now casted doubts over their selection for Saturday.
He said: "Don't know yet if [Reece James and Pedro Neto will be fit]. We had training today. We will check them tomorrow and make a decision."
Chelsea are clear-cut favourites to beat Wolves despite being away from home. The Midlands outfit have shown improvement recently, but the Blues should prove too strong for them this weekend.
It would be a huge surprise if Wolves avoid a defeat. Chelsea have won each of their previous four encounters, scoring 16 goals in the process.
