Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has said that Reece James is unwell ahead of the Premier League clash against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
The England international has been sidelined for the last two matches with a minor injury, but he is anticipated to return against the Whites on Tuesday evening.
However, Rosenior has now revealed that is not certain. James has recovered but he is currently unwell and may need to be assessed before the match.
He told reporters earlier today: "Reece is fit. Small issue is, he is feeling unwell today. It's no conspiracy, it's the truth. Hopefully he's well enough to be involved."
Chelsea are currently fifth in the standings with 42 points from 25 league games. They have won their last four league matches in fine fashion.
The Blues have the opportunity to extend the winning streak against Leeds. They will aim to avenge the 3-1 loss at Elland Road earlier this term.
