Liverpool are growingly frustrated with Ibrahima Konate's reluctance to negotiate a new contract beyond the summer, as per Teamtalk.
The Frenchman has been a mainstay alongside Virgil van Dijk in the heart of the Reds defence, but this has not changed his contract stance.
His current deal expires at the end of June and as things stand, the centre-back has not been convinced to accept improved terms to continue at the club.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are monitoring his situation and could be prepared to negotiate a pre-contract later this year.
Liverpool have already signed a new centre-back in Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes, but he recently suffered a serious shoulder injury.
The 19-year-old is touted to return to action before the season ends. He could be seen as a direct replacement for Konate next term.
Liverpool are currently sixth in the league standings with 39 points, four behind Chelsea and five adrift of Manchester United in fourth.
