Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Riccardo Calafiori and Ben White after the 4-0 win over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday.
The Gunners cruised to a comfortable victory over the Latics at the Emirates Stadium. Eberechi Eze had a good outing from the centre of the park, providing two assists.
Shortly after the game, Arteta was asked about the fitness of Calafiori and White. The former picked up an injury in the warm-up and was replaced by Bukayo Saka in the XI.
White, on the other hand, seemed to have picked up a hamstring issue during the game. When asked about the duo, Arteta said: "Let's see in the next day or two."
Arsenal have a quick turnaround. They have a Premier League game at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night. The match was recently pre-poned due to their involvement in the Carabao Cup final.
The Gunners can go seven points clear of second-placed Manchester City in the standings by beating Wolves at the Molineux Stadium.
