Arsenal playmaker Martin Odegaard has been ruled out of the European encounter against Bayer Leverkusen on the road tomorrow.
The Norwegian has been on the sidelines for the past few games with a knee injury and he has not recovered in time for Wednesday's clash.
Arsenal face Leverkusen in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie. Odegaard has not travelled with the team to Germany.
In his absence, one of Eberechi Eze or Kai Havertz could start in the number 10 position. There is a possibility that both could make the XI too.
Eze could be asked to operate from the left wing position, thereby allowing Havertz to face his former club from the attacking midfield slot.
Arsenal go into the game as potential favourites, but Leverkusen are a strong opposition at home and won't be easy to defeat tomorrow.
The Gunners need a top-class showing to secure a victory. Viktor Gyokeres should relish playing against a club that is defensively vulnerable.
