Arsenal are preparing a move for Newcastle United defender Tino Livramento during the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
The Gunners are expected to reinforce their backline during the summer and there is a possibility of one or two departures on the cards.
Ben White and Myles Lewis-Skelly are enduring a tough season with limited playing time and they could head for the exit door later this year.
The Gunners have now earmarked Livramento as a top target to bolster both full-back positions and could make an offer in the next window.
Livramento will enter the last two years of his contract with the Magpies this summer and there has been no progress over a possible extension.
There is a strong possibility that he could be sold for a premium fee and reports claim that Newcastle could accept £60 million for his services.
Arsenal are said to be reluctant to pay such a price but the scenario could change if they can recoup funds from the exits of White and Lewis-Skelly.
