Chelsea winger Estevao has been ruled out of the Premier League game against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge with a hamstring injury.
The Brazil international has not featured for the Blues in the last few weeks and manager Liam Rosenior has confirmed that his absence will continue.
The club are carefully assessing the nature of his hamstring injury and the winger may not be involved until after the March international break.
Speaking to reporters, Rosenior said: "Estevao is still a little bit further away. We want to be careful with Estevao because of the nature of his hamstring injury."
Pedro Neto and Cole Palmer started out wide against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, but the former has been ruled out tomorrow.
Neto is suspended by FA for misconduct and will serve a one-game ban. Hence, Alejandro Garnacho is poised to make the starting line-up.
Chelsea are currently fifth in the league table with 48 points, and can temporarily move to third on goal difference by winning tomorrow.
