Arsenal midfielder Eberechi Eze has suffered a huge injury blow ahead of the Premier League meeting against Manchester City next month, according to BBC Sport.
The England international picked up a calf injury against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League and he was subsequently ruled out of the Carabao Cup final against Man City at Wembley Stadium.
With Martin Odegaard also sidelined, the Gunners lacked creativity from the number 10 position, given Kai Havertz looked rusty, having only recently returned from a hamstring problem.
Eze's injury is more serious than initially assessed and reports claim that he could be sidelined for four to six weeks. That means he won't be available to face the Cityzens on the road on April 19.
While Eze will play no part in the potential title decider, the Gunners are poised to welcome back Martin Odegaard, who has been out for the last few weeks with a nagging knee concern.
Odegaard could make his return after the international break.
