Deschamps linked with L'OM

17 September 2007 - 15:19

Didier Deschamps has been linked with a return to management with Olympique Marseille. L'OM have had a terrible start to the season and there is some speculation that Deschamps could take charge.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • It is believed that current boss; Albert Emon, has been told if results do not improve in the next 3 games he may be looking for a new job.

OM have only one win from eight matches, and the defeat against Toulouse at the weekend increased speculation concerning Emon.

Coach Albert Emon described the atmosphere in the Olympique Marseille camp as "worried and unhappy" following yet another home defeat.

Emon has moved to hit back at the rumours claiming, "Yes, I remain the trainer. My resignation is not up for debate. I will not move back."
