Arsenal are poised for a major injury boost on winger Bukayo Saka for the season run-in, according to The Independent.
The Gunners are currently three points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the league, but the Cityzens have a game in hand.
Pep Guardiola's side can return to the top of the table by beating Burnley in midweek. A 1-0 win would see them lead on goals scored.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are not in league action until Saturday evening when they host Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium.
Ahead of that game, they could receive a timely boost with Saka almost back in training. He could be in line to make the matchday squad.
Saka has been sidelined with a foot injury for the last few weeks. This has come as a big surprise for many fans, given he was fit last month.
His absence has been felt with several defeats in recent weeks.
