Manchester United winger Matheus Cunha has reportedly suffered a groin injury ahead of the Premier League clash against Brentford tonight.
The Red Devils are currently on 58 points for the league campaign and can put themselves on the cusp of Champions League qualification with a win.
Ahead of the game, they have suffered an untimely setback, with Cunha ruled out due to a groin complaint sustained in first-team training earlier this week.
As a result, he will be sidelined for the encounter, which will force United into an untimely change for the visit of Brentford to Old Trafford tonight.
The Bees have won their previous two league meetings against United, but both of those were on the road.
At home, United have a 100 percent record against them since they were promoted back to the top-flight in 2021. They will be aiming to continue that run in tonight's encounter.
Amad Diallo looks poised to be reinstated in the line-up with Cunha's absence from the matchday squad.
