Fabregas wants future Arsenal job

Cesc Fabregas wants to manage Arsenal over Chelsea?

06 May 2026 - 21:11

Como manager Cesc Fabregas has a long-term dream of managing Arsenal amid the reported interest from Chelsea.

  • Chelsea eyeing surprise move for former Arsenal striker
  • Man Utd favourites to sign £39m Brazilian midfielder

  • Chelsea parted ways with Liam Rosenior after a run of five straight Premier League defeats and have started their search for a replacement.

Fabregas is one of the top names on their radar, and Como president Mirwan Suwarso recently said that the club won't block his departure.

The 39-year-old tactician recently hinted that he does not want to leave the Serie A club, and it appears he could choose the Gunners in future.

Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol claims that a move to the Blues may not represent a good progressive step for the ex-Premier League star.

Instead, he would be tempted to join his former club Arsenal instead, given they have been on the up under Mikel Arteta's tutelage in recent years.

As things stand, Arsenal have no plans to part ways with Arteta, and they are in talks to negotiate a new long-term deal with the Spaniard.
