McClaren heads to Blackburn?

McClaren heads to Blackburn?

07 June 2008 - 03:53

Former England and Middlesbrough Steve McClaren could be on the verge of making a return to football management this summer as the replacement for outgoing boss Mark Hughes at Blackburn.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • McClaren had already been linked with a move to the Eredivisie with Twente, but the speculation that Blackburn are weighing up a move for the former England coach would prove a superb opportunity for McClaren.

Blackburn reluctantly lost Mark Hughes to Man City this week, and are believed to be ready to wait before choosing the ideal successor.
