Real Madrid are reluctant to make a formal approach for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez due to the transfer valuation, according to AS in Spain.
The La Liga giants recently sealed the signing of Blues left-back Marc Cucurella for 60 million euros. His transfer has been formally confirmed.
Fernandez is also determined to make the switch to Madrid, but he does not appear at the top of the club's priority list due to the hefty asking price.
The Blues want at least 120 million euros for the former Benfica man and Madrid are reluctant to spend anywhere close to that figure for him.
Instead, Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has encouraged the club to pursue a deal for West Ham star Mateus Fernandes, who could be signed for less.
AS cite that he could be prised away for around 80 million euros, but Madrid are set to face competition from the Red Devils for his services.
Fernandes is reportedly giving priority to Man Utd at the moment.
