Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez could still leave the Blues despite the departure of Andrey Santos to Manchester United.
The Blues have agreed to part ways with Santos for around £50m. He is expected to undergo his medical at United tomorrow.
Despite this, the club could still part ways with Fernandez, who is determined to play Champions League football and win major trophies.
The Argentine was eager to join Real Madrid earlier this summer and contact was personally made to Los Blancos through his agent.
However, Madrid have categorically ruled out a move for the World Cup winner, and Fernandez has to look elsewhere now.
Chelsea are open to integrating him back into the squad after the World Cup, but Fernandez remains hopeful of moving on.
Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City remain possible destinations for the former Benfica man, while Arsenal are keeping tabs on him.
The Gunners are currently prioritising a deal for Newcastle, but could turn to Fernandez if they can't strike an agreement for him.
