Arsenal have finally reached an agreement to sign Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, according to Chronicle Live.
The Gunners have been hot on the trail of the Brazilian for the last few weeks and have finally agreed on payment terms with the Magpies.
The club have finalised a package worth £75 million, which will be paid as a fixed fee. There are no add-ons as part of the transfer.
Guimaraes has already agreed terms with the Premier League champions and he is expected to travel to London for his medical soon.
The Brazilian is one of the best midfielders in the English top-flight, and should be a level-raiser for the Gunners ahead of the new campaign.
His partnership with Declan Rice should be a delight to watch. Guimaraes could play as the more advanced of the duo, but they could interchange too.
His arrival could be formally confirmed before the end of the week. Arsenal are still expected to land a marquee left winger after Guimaraes.
