Arsenal have been handed an injury boost on midfielder Bruno Guimaraes ahead of the Premier League clash against Aston Villa later this month.
The Gunners started their league campaign with a convincing 3-0 win over Coventry City at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night.
Guimaraes was absent for the game with a minor thigh issue, and reports initially claimed that he could be out of action for a few weeks.
However, speaking after the victory, manager Mikel Arteta clarified that the injury is not serious and Guimaraes was pushing to play.
He was fairly optimistic that the Brazilian could make a full recovery before the Gunners take on Villa away from home on August 31.
The Gunners are currently top of the table after their convincing triumph over the Sky Blues. Martin Odegaard was the man of the match.
Odegaard has made a bright start to the campaign with the Gunners, and he has already bagged back-to-back man of the match accolades.
