Sunderland are supposedly set to make a transfer offer for Tottenham's unhappy striker Darren Bent. The player only joined Spurs last season for a fee estimated to be in the region of £18 million.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd interested in signing Aurelien Tchouameni
  • Now Juande Ramos is keen to let the player leave, and reports have emerged that Roy Keane is set to make a bid for the England international.

The former Charlton man could be allowed to leave for a fee of around £12 million to £14 million and Sunderland have over £30 million to spend on new players.
