West Ham are reportedly back in the market for Reading defender Nicky Shorey. The England international right back has been looking to leave the Royals' since they were relegated to the Championship.

It is understood that the Hammers are set to offer £5 million to lure the defender to the club, but there are a host of other possible destinations for the player.



There are even talks of some interest from La Liga, but as yet nothing has been confirmed.



Alan Curbishley is desperate to bring Shorey to the club for his new look side for next year.
