Robert Pires has revealed the real reasons behind Thierry Henry's apparent loss of form. The former Arsenal striker has yet to score for Barcelona - despite only playing three games - and questions have been raised about his form.
The French midfielder said, "Henry, we all know him: he is excellent. But what happens when you change league is that you need time to adjust, and that's proved problematic.
"The subject of his divorce may be preying on him. Such thoughts weigh heavily in sporting matters. What's more, he cannot see his daughter at the moment. That may be why we're not seeing the great Henry."
However, it is not just Henry who is off form - the whole Barcelona side could well be. Only three goals have been scored in three games by the Catalonians.
However, Pires believes that Henry will come good, stating, "I know him well, and I don't think he'll have problems settling in at Barcelona."
