Calderon to meet Gill next week

According to the Madrid based Spanish sports daily AS, Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon is set to meet the Manchester United chief executive David Gill next week in order to finalize a deal over Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid have been linked with Ronaldo for months now and it appears that their hard work is now coming to fruition. It has been reported both in the Spanish and the English press that Ronaldo shall play for Real Madrid next season.



Real are expected to launch a bid between 8- to 90 million euros for the 23-year old Portuguese winger and in all likelihood the deal will be finalised next week.
