Jefferson has joined Fiorentina. It is understood that the Brazilian forward has joined the Viola for a fee in the region of £7 million, and that Fiorentina beat off several of Europe's biggest sides to land the 20 year old.
"Fiorentina would like to communicate the permanent signature of Jefferson, who is committed to the club on a four-year contract," read a statement on the club's official website.
Fiorentina had to compete with Roma, Lyon and Ajax in swooping for the talented Brazilian striker.
