Ramos fails to lure winger

Tottenham Hotspur manager Juande Ramos has failed in his bid to land the young Spanish winger Diego Capel from Sevilla FC.

Ramos was speculated to be keen on Capel, who git his debut in La Liga under Ramos when the latter was coach of the Andalucian giants at the start of last season.



After persuading the likes of Giovani dos Santos, Luca Modric and Gomes, Juande Ramos was expected to convince the young Cepel to join Spurs before the start of the season.



But the 20-year old has said to the official Sevilla website:



“At this moment I am a Sevilla footballer and this is what I want to carry on enjoying. It is my wish to be here for a long time. Because of this I will not listen to any offers from other sides that come in.”
