Ambitious Turkish giants Fenerbahce have begun their spending this summer in a big way, after they persuaded Spanish international striker Daniel Guiza to make the move to the Turkish Super Lig.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • It is understood that Fenerbahce have paid Real Mallorca a whopping £15 million for the privilege, and that the player will be earning a reported £70,000 a week wage packet.

Guiza has now accepted a move to Turkey where he will play under Aragones - his boss in the successful Euro 2008 campaign for Spain.
