Ajax Amsterdam have ruled out the opportunity of star forward Klaas- Jan Huntelaar from leaving the club. It was understood that Arsenal were preparing a £18 million offer for the Dutch international.
However, it now seems that Arsenal's bids for the player did not even exist.
Ajax's Managing Director Henri van der Aat said: "There has been no contact with Arsenal.
"We really don't want him to leave and we are going to do everything we can to make sure he doesn't."
