Bojinov eyes Man City stay

16 July 2008 - 15:49

Valeri Bojinov has confirmed that he has no intention of leaving Manchester City this summer; despite the interest of several Italian clubs who would like to bring the player back to Serie A.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • "I have seen the stories and no I don't want to move back to Italy," he told the club's official website.

"I'm happy in Manchester and want to stay because City is a very important club. After a year of injuries, I'm happy because the club and the manager have given me a chance to stay at City.

"I don't want to go to Italy because I want to play for Manchester City, the fans and for myself, in the Premier League. The Premier League is very important and I want to show the new manager what I can do."
