Petrov in talks with Villa

Aston Villa midfielder Stilian Petrov is currently in talks with the club with regards to a new contract. According to the player's agent, his client is happy to stay at the club.

"Stiliyan is very, very happy at Aston Villa and he enjoys playing under Martin O'Neill," he told Sky Sports.



"Villa are going places and Stilian would like to be part of that. He would be happy to speak to Villa about a new deal if they approach him about his contract.



"He is enjoying life at Villa very much and we would hope to sit down with Villa before the end of the season."
