Given unsure of new boss

Newcastle veteran goalkeeper Shay Given has revealed he too is in the dark with regards to the potential appointment of new boss at the club. Gus Poyet has been linked with the role.

"I don't know [about a new manager],” he told Sky Sports.



“I have not spoken to many people from the club or even players for that matter so i cannot really comment on that and I am likely to meet up with the lads in the next few days and take it from there.”
