Arsenal not after Appiah

11 September 2008 - 16:33

Despite the persistent rumours, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the club will not be making a move for Ghana international midfielder Stephen Appiah.

  • Man Utd star preparing farewell video ahead of transfer
  • Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Atletico Madrid, Lewis-Skelly starts
  • It was believed that the Gunners had offered Appiah a £35,000 a week contract to sign on at the Emirates, but Wenger ruled out any potential move for the player.

Portsmouth and Bayern Munich are both understood to be leading the way to sign the international captain.
