Bilic: England best in Europe

Croatia boss Slaven Bilic has paid England the ultimate compliment, after revealing he believes the Three Lions to be the 'best in Europe'. England defeated Croatia 4-1 with Theo Walcott bagging a hat trick.

'In the first half, we were looking good and we thought we could get a positive result,' said the former West Ham defender. 'But, we were brutally punished in the second half.



'We knew Capello had two options [on the right], either (Theo) Walcott or (David) Beckham.



'It turned out Walcott was the right choice as he was so exceptionally dangerous. England showed they are a mighty team, probably the best in Europe.'
