Christanval to Blackburn

Philippe Christanval has been offered the chance to impress at Blackburn Rovers, and has been given a three day trial at the club. It is understood that the former Fulham and Barcelona man is looking for a long-term deal.

“Philippe has been offered a trial,” said Williams.



“He should be taking that up as we speak and it will be probably be for around three days.



“Like I have said before there is nothing concrete but being free agents if they do impress then we can sign them outside the transfer window.”
