Rafa backs Keane to score

Rafa backs Keane to score

12 September 2008 - 16:23

Rafa Benitez is hopeful that Robbie Keane will score against Manchester United. The Liverpool boss feels that the money paid for Keane represents good value.

  • Chelsea planning move for marquee centre-back
  • Juventus exploring deal for Chelsea striker
  • Benitez said: "I was surprised when he questioned the fee for Keane. Maybe he should look at how much money they are paying each season for a lot of players.

"If he can score against United, though, it will be massive for him and for us. He scored for his country in the recent international break, all he needs to do now is to score in a few games in a row.

"Robbie will score soon. Maybe in 24 hours everything will be okay for him."
