Motherwell 3-2 Falkirk

Motherwell 3-2 Falkirk

06 October 2008 - 09:32

Motherwell edged John Hughes’ Falkirk side out in a five goal thriller at Fir Park.

  • Arsenal linked with new shotstopper as backup to Raya
  • Juventus and Roma to battle for 20yo Arsenal star

  • Jamie Murphy fired the home side in front of 12 minutes only for Steve Lovell to equalise with a neat finish. Bairns goalkeeper Robert Olejnik then blundered when he spilled the ball as he slid out of his penalty area, gifting Motherwell’s Chris Porter one of the easiest goals he would score in his career. Graham Barrett equalised once again for Falkirk with an angled shot early into the Second Half but John Sutton headed home for his fifth goal in five SPL games for Mark McGhee’s side and secure all three points for Motherwell.
