31 October 2008 - 02:53

Newly appointed Argentina international coach Diego Maradona has planned to head to England to watch Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano and Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Diego Maradona was appointed this week after Argentina started their World Cup qualification in the worst possible manner; including a poor 1-0 loss to Chile.

Maradona's first game in charge of Argentina will be on November 19 against England rivals Scotland.

Maradona is expected to have discussions with the Argentinian duo who have proved their worth in the Premiership.
