Tottenham legend Les Ferdinand has admitted he would be interested in joining Harry Redknapp's coaching staff, and that he has already been in touch with former the Portsmouth coach.
Ferdinand has been looking to coach a Premiership club and this could represent a fine opportunity for the former England international.
Ferdinand told Sky Sports News: "We have had a brief chat and I wished him all the best, because I know Harry through his son Jamie and I have met him on many occasions.
"We have had a brief chat but nothing concrete. We will sit down and have a chat about it and see where we go.
"If they feel the strikers could benefit from something I could give to them then I would be more than happy to go there and help.
"I imagine it would be with the strikers and if that's what's right for all parties maybe we'll do it."
