Phil Brown staying put at Hull

03 November 2008 - 01:41

Hull Ctiy have no intentions of letting boss Phil Brown leave the club. There had been rumours that Tottenham were thinking about making Brown their boss after sacking Juande Ramos.

  • Chelsea to make renewed offer for Senegal star?
  • Confirmed Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Man City, Sesko left out
  • Hull supremo Phil Duffen quipped: "I think so yeah. Phil I believe is a tremendous manager. He's a tremendous coach. He wants to be and will be the manager of a big football club, I have no doubts about that.

"More than actually going and running a big football club, he's got an opportunity that not managers do have of creating a big football club.

"He understands that opportunity as well and I think Phil and I will be together for quite a while at this Hull City ride and I we both share that focus."
