The Reds eased past West Bromwich Albion at Anfield, Robbie Keane finding his first Premier League goals for Liverpool.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Venue: Anfield [43451]

    Scorers: Liverpool (Keane - 34, 43 , Arbeloa - 90) 3 - 0 West Brom

Robbie Keane struck twice in the first half giving a comfortable victory for Rafa Benitez - his 150th as Liverpool boss. Alvaro Arbeloa - Rafa's recruit from his very own Real Madrid Castilla - made it three in the 90th minute.

It was a predictable win for the Reds as they had never lost to West Brom in their last 10 meetings, Keane's effort made sure they kept the record. The first goal came in the 34th minute, a Gerrard pass finding Keane with some space and he lifted the ball over a diving Scott Carson. It was a good finish and it surely gave him immense confidence.

Robbie Keane had not been able to carry his clinical striking form from the time he was in Spurs, this performance will surely give him immense confidence. The second goal was an excellent finish, rounding Carson and slotting an angled ball into the net.

Arbeloa topped his spirited performance at the back, which made sure Liverpool had a clean sheet, with a goal to his name.

Liverpool remains top in the Premier League and the Reds fans have a "new" Robbie!
