Spurs to sign Adriano?

Spurs to sign Adriano?

27 November 2008 - 14:41

Inter Milan's Adriano could be on the verge of a Premier League transfer in the January window. Tottenham Hotspur are leading the race to sign the Brazilian - reports from Italy.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The Spurs are badly in need of a spur upfront and are lining up a bid for the out-of favourite Inter Milan striker Adriano. Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho thinks that Adriano is surplus to his needs and latest from Italy suggest that the Brazilian striker would be on the move in January.

Adriano is facing a tough time even though he has made his return from the long term injury and the loss of form as a result of that, and had started scoring goals. But, Mourinho is interested in signing Didier Drogba to strengthen his squad and to allow Adriano to leave the club as reported by Sportsmediaset

Adriano would cost as much as £8M if Spurs want to get his signature.
