Gianluigi Buffon has revealed that he so nearly joined AC Milan as a kid, and in the end opted to join Parma instead. Buffon advised young players to be careful which agent they choose.

Buffon revealed that his family told him to wait for his turn before making a rash decision.



Buffon said: “I wanted to go to Milan when I was young, but my family pushed me towards Parma.



“I would advise any youngsters to be careful with agents. I have been with Silvano Martina since I was 16 and I know that an agent can make you a fortune or cost you a fortune.”
