Wigan have been linked with a shock move for Middlesbrough striker Mido. It is understood that if Emile Heskey leaves the club, Steve Bruce would like to bring Mido in to partner Amr Zaki up front.
Mido is having a reasonable season at Boro, and manager Gareth Southgate would probably be reluctant to lose such a valuable asset.
However the talk is that Wigan may offer as much as 5 million GBP for the forward, and Mido himself would be very interested to try his luck elsewhere.
