Sunderland shortlist down to 3

Sunderland's shortlist for a replacement for Roy Keane has now been reduced down to three. It is understood that Niall Quinn has three names on his list and hopes to make an announcement within a week about Keane's successor.

Gerard Houllier, Sam Allardyce and Peter Reid are all mentioned as potential names on that list, but there has been no official confirmation from Sunderland yet.



The departure of Roy Keane was a shock to many, and chairman Niall Quinn is eager to find a replacement as soon as possible for the Irishman.
