The player is capable of playing anywhere across the defence, and it is the player's versatility that Wenger apparently admires.



Everton boss David Moyes is known to be reluctant to let the player leave, but with the apparent readiness of Wenger to offer 6 million GBP for the player, it will be difficult for the Toffees to hang on to the former Wolverhampton Wanderers player.
