Bendtner wanted by Lyon?

French champions Olympique Lyonnais are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal's 'super sub' Nicklas Bendtner in the January transfer window. However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to hang on to the Denmark international.

Bendtner has been in impressive form of late, helping Arsenal to victory over Hull with a late goal in the 3-1 win.



However, Lyon are desperate to bolster the strike force, and Bendtner has emerged as a target for the French side.



Bendtner has found his opportunities in the first-team limited behind Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie, and may be tempted to try his luck elsewhere.
