Richards wants Kaka at City

Man City defender Micah Richards has admitted he would love to Brazilian midfielder Kaka at the City of Manchester Stadium in January. The AC Milan man has reportedly been offered 500k GBP per week to make a move away from the San Siro.

  • Now the England defender Richards has backed City's moved for the mercurial Brazilian.

"Kaka is a gifted player who is perfectly suited to playing in the Premier League," said Richards on his website, MicahRichards.com.

"He is fast, skilful and strong, and he can score and create goals. In truth, I can't think of an attribute he doesn't have.

"He has still not reached his peak. I firmly believe he could be as influential to us as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Steven Gerrard are to their sides.

"A player of his ability will only thrive under the pressure - he certainly seems to be someone that always performs the bigger the occasion.

"He has been the main man for years at Milan so the pressure is something he is used to.

"The signing of Kaka would bring a lot to the club as he is one of the best players in the world. He would attract other big names here."
