Newcastle are rumoured to be moving a step closer to sign the impressive coup of Michael Johnson for a reported £8 million GBP fee from Manchester City.
Johnson showed signs of being well on his way to becoming a class act for the Citizens, but the huge spending power of Mark Hughes' side has now seen his opportunities limited.
