Almeria striker Alvaro Negredo is likely to quit the club, according to a club spokesman at the Spanish side. Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill is a known admirer of the forward.

A club spokesman said of Negredo: “I must tell Almeria fans to make the most of Negredo because unfortunately I think that he will not stay here for long.”
