Zaragoza's Brazilian midfielder will be sidelined for 2 months after a horror tackle by Yaya Toure in the match with Barcelona. The player will be out until November following a tear to the ligament in his left knee.

The attacking midfielder has few, if any peers in terms of playstyle in the Zaragoza squad, but Alberto Zapater or Gabi are likely to step in to replace him.



Shakhtar are currently attempting to earn compensation from Zaragoza in excess of £16m for the player they signed for £9m.
